US Bicycling Hall of Fame Launches New Brand Identity

Press Release - Apr 7, 2010

The U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame announced today that they are launching a new brand identity as the organization prepares for their grand opening later this month.

After moving from New Jersey to establish a new home in Davis, California, the nearly 25 year-old Hall of Fame has been working to promote the organization as a leader in bicycling history and home to the country's greatest cycling athletes.

"We are ecstatic to be rolling out our new brand and logo in time for the grand opening in Davis" said Hall of Fame President Dawn Wylong. "We've worked hard to develop an identity that is true to the mission of the Hall of Fame and we're confident that our inductees, past and future, will be proud of the results."

With the Grand Opening ceremony of the Hall's new building slated for April 24th at noon, preparations to immediately utilize the new logo are well under way. The three story building, located in downtown Davis, California will prominently feature the logo and brand style throughout its unique collection of bicycles and bicycle racing memorabilia.

"We're inviting everyone to come see us on April 24th" said Wylong. "This free event is way for us to announce that we're officially open for business and to give back to the local community that has welcomed us with open arms over the last year"

The new brand, highlighted by a revised logo, is designed and managed by Tacket+Barbaria, a Davis firm specializing in brand management for companies and non-profits. Collectible items displaying the new logo will be available for sale at the grand opening event.
